This training is ideal for brand-new or novice handgun users who want to build true confidence, safe handling, and accurate shooting—and it’s equally valuable for experienced shooters ready to revisit and refine the fundamentals. Even if you already consider yourself a strong shooter, you will walk away with meaningful improvements that often surprise people. Saturday focuses on safe, efficient handling and precision, working at a thoughtful, deliberate pace to ensure each shooter develops repeatable, rock-solid fundamentals. If the class shows strong proficiency, we’ll move into applying those fundamentals with increasing speed while maintaining accuracy.

On Sunday, we build on Saturday’s foundation, adding speed, advanced accuracy, and more dynamic skills: quick, deliberate draws (preferably concealed), multi-round engagements, transitions, movement, and challenging courses of fire. This course is designed for those who currently carry—or plan to carry—concealed, though duty and competition setups are welcome. Full gear guidance is provided, and Haven Defense Co. is recommended for holsters if you need one. Loaner firearms are available. Please bring 350–500 rounds per day, proper range attire, eye/ear protection, lunch, and any optional comfort gear. The course is taught by Adam Winch, a certified Master Instructor, former law enforcement officer, SWAT member, MP, and founder of Defenders USA.
