About the event
Precision Challenge: Approximately 50 rounds total to shoot in all three events.
-8:15-8:20: Safety Brief
- 8:20-8:50: Zero time
- 9:00 Match start
1,000 yard 1 MOA-
Each shooter is allotted a 5-minute time limit.
10 rounds are permitted.
10-inch Plate: 1 point per successful hit.
5-inch Plate: 2 points per successful hit.
Shooters must first hit the 10-inch Plate before attempting the 5-inch Plate.
Shooters may opt to continue targeting the 10-inch Plate exclusively.
Example:
5 hits on the 10-inch Plate
2 hits on the 5-inch Plate
3 misses
Total Score: 9 Points
Misses do not penalize the shooter.
500 yard KYL-
Open to any caliber.
12 rounds allowed.
Time Limit: 2 minutes.
Divisions: Prone or Benchrest.
Course of Fire: 500 Yard KYL (6 targets).
Animal Silhouette Shoot -
A recreational shoot following the 1,000 yard 1 MOA and 500 KYL events.
